We help U.S. businesses accept credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, and ACH payments in-store, online, and on mobile — and we offer cash discount, surcharge, and high-risk processing programs for merchants who need them.
What does it cost to get started with KAJA Payments?
There is no setup fee, and every account is month-to-month with no early termination fee. Processing rates are quoted after a free review of your current statement, using interchange-plus, flat-rate, or tiered pricing — whichever fits your volume best.
How quickly will I receive my funds?
Most merchants receive funds the next business day after batch close. Same-day funding is available for qualifying merchants.
What is the difference between a cash discount and a surcharge?
A cash discount posts the credit card price and takes a discount off for customers who pay with cash, check, EBT, or HSA/FSA; it is legal in all 50 states and requires no card brand registration. A surcharge adds a capped fee (3% maximum under Visa rules) to credit card transactions only, requires 30 days' notice to Visa and Mastercard, and is prohibited in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico.
Does KAJA Payments work with high-risk businesses?
Yes. We provide high-risk merchant accounts for more than 50 industries, including CBD and hemp, nutraceuticals, firearms, travel, subscription billing, and credit repair. Most high-risk applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. KAJA serves U.S.-based businesses only.
